The training "Journey to the History of Mathematics with Metaverse" was conducted by our Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur SEVLİ within the scope of TÜBİTAK Scientific Education Activities.

Our Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur SEVLİ gave a practical training on "Journey in the History of Mathematics with Metaverse" on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, between 09:30 and 12:00 within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Education Activities Support Program "Interdisciplinary Mathematics Academy" project.

In the event held for students studying undergraduate degrees in Mathematics at different universities, topics such as the basics of Metaverse technology, blockchain technology, evaluation of related technologies within the framework of mathematical foundations, Metaverse applications in the field of education, the future of Metaverse technology, and the transformations it will bring about were discussed.

In the event where it was explained how to design sample environments such as virtual classrooms, meetings, and exhibitions on a metaverse platform, participants had the opportunity to experience the Metaverse environment practically.
